Your guide will be waiting to meet you at the port. After you’ve been welcomed your guide will take you to the Ancient City of Ephesus. You’ll enjoy a downhill walk with your guide into the ruins of the Roman capital. Your route takes you past the Bouleuterion, the Temple of Domitian, Hercules Gate, the Temple of Hadrian, The Celsus Library, and The Great Theater.
After Ephesus, you will be driven to the traditional Turkish Bath. At the entrance to the bath, will be given tokens and directions.
After undressing in the dressing room area, you will wrap your body in a peştamal, a traditional cotton body wrap. After locking all your belongings in the locker provided (remembering to keep the key with you at all times), you will pass into the hot area that includes the heated marble platform in the center. This area called the sıcaklık(caldarium), consists of a large, hot marble platform that is surrounded by bathing basins (kurna) and private bathing cubicles (halvet).
You should first get your body to perspire, either by lying or sitting on the hot marble or pouring hot water on your body by sitting next to one of the basins. Then your attendant will give you an exfoliating scrub and a bubble wash as you lie on the hot platform. You will then move to one of the basins and the attendant will wash you there.
Then if you prefer, you may remain lying on the platform to perspire more and relax. When you wish, you may move to one of the basins to wash your body. When you feel ready to leave the bath, you will be given towels to dry your body. After leaving the bath, you may sit and relax in the cooler area of the Hamam, perhaps enjoying a drink as well.
We would also like to introduce you to the local cultural aspects of Ephesus by showing handmade Carpet & rug art. through traditional weaving in the Teaching Village and you’ll enjoy many Ephesus Ceramics as well.

Votre guide vous attendra au port. Après avoir été accueilli, votre guide vous emmènera dans l'ancienne ville d'Éphèse. Vous profiterez d'une promenade en descente avec votre guide dans les ruines de la capitale romaine. Vous passerez devant le Bouleuterion, le temple de Domitien, la porte d'Hercule, le temple d'Hadrien, la bibliothèque de Celsus et le grand théâtre.
Après Éphèse, vous serez conduit au bain turc traditionnel. À l'entrée du bain, vous recevrez des jetons et des instructions.
Après vous être déshabillé dans le vestiaire, vous vous envelopperez d'un peştamal, un enveloppement traditionnel en coton. Après avoir enfermé toutes vos affaires dans le casier prévu à cet effet (en n'oubliant pas de garder la clé sur vous à tout moment), vous passerez dans la zone chaude qui comprend la plateforme de marbre chauffée au centre. Cette zone, appelée sıcaklık (caldarium), consiste en une grande plate-forme de marbre chauffée, entourée de bassins de bain (kurna) et de cabines de bain privées (halvet).
Vous devez d'abord faire transpirer votre corps, soit en vous allongeant ou en vous asseyant sur le marbre chaud, soit en versant de l'eau chaude sur votre corps en vous asseyant à côté de l'un des bassins. Ensuite, votre accompagnateur vous fera un gommage et un bain moussant pendant que vous êtes allongé sur la plate-forme chaude. Vous vous déplacerez ensuite vers l'un des bassins et l'hôtesse vous y lavera.
Si vous le souhaitez, vous pouvez ensuite rester allongé sur la plate-forme pour transpirer davantage et vous détendre. Lorsque vous le souhaitez, vous pouvez vous rendre dans l'un des bassins pour vous laver le corps. Lorsque vous vous sentirez prêt à quitter le bain, on vous donnera des serviettes pour vous sécher le corps. Après avoir quitté le bain, vous pourrez vous asseoir et vous détendre dans la partie la plus fraîche du hammam, en dégustant éventuellement une boisson.
Nous aimerions également vous présenter les aspects culturels locaux d'Éphèse en vous montrant l'art des tapis et des moquettes faits à la main, à travers le tissage traditionnel dans le village d'enseignement, et vous apprécierez également de nombreuses céramiques d'Éphèse.
